Cheryl has been actively involved in the menu labeling regulation since 2011, when the regulations were first proposed. Cheryl’s knowledge and involvement in menu labeling is vast, including direct engagement with
FDA on the topic.

Cheryl doesn’t just bring knowledge to the table — she brings experience
in putting the regulations into practice. Formerly with Darden Restaurants:

• Cheryl has guided multiple brands toward menu labeling compliance,
which involved working with multiple functions, including
(government affairs, legal, marketing, supply chain, culinary and
communications),
• envisioned, built and maintained an infrastructure to support nutrition
transparency and compliance,
• participated in market research to gain consumer insights on menu labeling
implications, and
• partnered with marketing and communications on
internal and external communication.
