Having grown up on a wheat farm in Eastern Washington State, Cheryl’s interest in nutrition began early. After a few years in traditional dietetic roles, Cheryl found her home in corporate nutrition and communications where she could exercise thought leadership and strategic outreach.

Professional Passion
Cheryl is passionate about translating sound science and consumer insights into compelling messages, advice and products for consumers. While Cheryl has spent plenty of time “out in front” representing products and positions, Cheryl is equally as passionate about the “behind the scenes” strategy and message development.

A Unique Skillset
Cheryl doesn’t just bring knowledge or advice to the table — she brings direct experience with execution. Having worked inside multiple Fortune 500 companies (including Kellogg, Albertsons, Hy-Vee and Darden Restaurants, which includes Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse and others), Cheryl understands what it takes to put ideas into action in a business environment. She is adept at working across functional teams and overcoming challenges. She is results oriented and her approach is both pragmatic and consumer-centric.

A Recognized Leader
Cheryl’s passion and leadership in nutrition was recently recognized by Full Service Restaurant Magazine when named one of “40 under 40 rising stars” in March 2014.
